What’s covered
The 2-5-10 warranty (BC Housing)
As a licensed BC Housing builder, our new homes and qualifying work are covered by the provincial 2-5-10 warranty. That means 2 years on labour and materials, 5 years on the building envelope (protection against water penetration), and 10 years on structural defects. It’s the standard in BC and we’re fully enrolled so you’re protected.
Workmanship warranty
We stand behind the quality of our work. If something we built or installed fails due to workmanship within our warranty period, we’ll make it right. We use experienced trades and quality standards because we don’t want callbacks—we want you to be happy for the long term.
Manufacturer warranties on materials
Appliances, windows, fixtures, and many finishes come with their own manufacturer warranties. We’ll share relevant paperwork and help you understand what’s covered. For defects in materials we supplied, we’ll coordinate with manufacturers and make sure you’re not left in the lurch.
How to make a claim
If something goes wrong, contact us. We’ll discuss the issue, assess whether it’s covered under our warranty or a manufacturer warranty, and schedule a repair or replacement. We don’t disappear after the final walkthrough—we’re here to fix legitimate issues promptly and with no runaround.
