How is design-build different from hiring separately?
When you hire an architect then a builder separately there's often a gap—designs that cost more than expected or details that are hard to build. Design-build keeps everyone aligned from day one.
Do you have in-house architects?
We collaborate with external architects and designers rather than employing them directly. This lets us match the right design professional to each project while maintaining our construction expertise throughout.
Will design-build cost more?
Usually less overall. You avoid redesigns cost surprises and the inefficiencies of separate teams. The design phase investment pays off in smoother construction.
Can I bring my own architect?
Absolutely. We work well with architects you've already engaged. We join the process early to provide construction input as design develops.
How long does the design phase take?
Depends on complexity. Renovation designs might take 4-6 weeks. Custom homes typically need 3-6 months for full design development including permits.
